In 2001, with its own brand Artshorts, Edizioni Olivares made its debut in the production of television programs and videos of cultural current events—art, film, theater, performing arts, thematic tourism—designed for use across new platforms: digital television channels, streaming video, DVD, DVB-H, and IPTV.
The stylistic line that distinguishes Artshorts is based on three distinctive elements:
- The intensive editorial formulation of both the basic concept of a program and its content, which is structured like a real screenplay.
- The brief format that responds to the needs of a viewing public whose time for comprehension and enjoyment is increasingly shorter.
- The choice of topics and of a narrative and visual language that will give international breadth to the programs, which are designed for different platforms and to be broadcast around the world.
Artshorts productions are real cinematic stories for exploring current cultural events.
